Founder
Mr. Madhusudan Bagla, a visionary entrepreneur and philanthropist, pioneered self-adhesive water based Carton Sealing Tape manufacturing in India when he set up Hindustan Adhesives Limited in 1988.

HAL has created a vertically integrated manufacturing facility which includes the production of BOPP Film, Adhesive, Paper Core and Boxes along with fully automated coating, printing, slitting and packing machine from Italy. Bagla Polifilms Limited (BPL) is your source for the complete range of high-quality Polyolefin Shrink Film. BPL is amongst the select few companies in the world that manufacture cross-linked shrink film with the unique E-Beam Technology from Europe. Launched BOPP Self Adhesive Tapes for the first time in India, using German Technology.
1990
Introduced Hot Melt Technology in India by manufacturing Hot Melt Rubber based Tapes.
1992
Started selling in the Global Market through distributors.
1994
Successfully got listed in the Bombay Stock Exchange
1995
Initiated production of specialized BOPP Film for Tapes, using Double Bubble Technology.
1997
Launched Self Adhesive Tear Tapes for India and the World Market using state of the art technology from the United Kingdom.
2007
Inaugurated production capacity the largest in India to manufacture Polyolefin Shrink Films in Uttrakhand, India.
2012
Invested in the technology to manufacture Cross-Linked or Irradiated Polyolefin Shrink Film.
2014
Set up North American office in Los Angeles, CA with the east coast warehouse in Edison, NJ and mid west warehouse Chicago, IL.
2017
Established the largest manufacturing plant in Gujarat, India on a sprawling space of 500,000 square feet to produce Adhesive Tapes and Shrink Films.
